Ari Perfume by Ariana Grande

I just can't stop looking at it.
It's so elegant and beautiful.

Hi guys! I'm Camille and I'm from the Philippines.

This blogging site is really supposed to be about cosmetics and beauty... but I decided to include scents too... just cause... You really won't feel pretty, cute, or beautiful if you don't smell good right?

Today, I will blog a review about Ari by Ariana Grande.

I'm not sure if Ari by Ariana Grande is already launched here where I'm from. This perfume was bought for me by my relative in the States at Macy's. It's so elegant and so beautiful. I've had this perfume for months now and I decided to review it for my fellow Arianators out there.

This perfume came in a lavender box, and a free black bag. So if you buy the Ari perfume, you'll have a free bag OR a free Ariana Grande Poster featuring the perfume. I'll post pictures below

I love this perfume so much. Here are my thoughts: (I am going to try and tell the truth. I am an Ariana Fan... I'll try not to be biased)

Bottle:
The bottle is super beautiful and elegant. At first I thought the puff ball was the spray. I thought once you press or pinch the thing..... you get the product. So, clearly that wasn't the function of the puff ball. To tell you the truth, I'm not a big fan of the puff ball. It irritates me a little bit if it gets in the way.

The bottle is very detailed. It looks so vintage with a little modern because of the puff ball and the rose gold color. It's just so elegant. Also, near the cap of the perfume, you could see ARIANA GRANDE engraved on it. Honestly, if I run out of this perfume, I would still keep the bottle because of its beauty.

Smell:
To those who don't like floral and sweet scents, I don't recommend this perfume. I personally love floral scents, so this perfume is fine for me. It can get too strong if you spray too much... I only do 2 sprays. I'm not really good at describing the smell of it... really. All I can say is that the smell of this is very floral and sweet like marshmallows. I really like this perfume. However, sometimes by the end of the day, you have to spray the perfume again... because the scent doesn't last all day. I recommend transferring or spraying this perfume to a smaller container (like the travel sized spray container) that would fit in your purse so you wouldn't need to carry the heavy bottle around. (I have the 100 ml Ari Perfume)

Packaging: Packaging is cute... it has her signature on it and adorable pictures of Ariana on the sides of the box. Also the lavender color is very pretty

I hope this Scent Review helped you! and I hope I did a good job reviewing it for you!

xoxo,
Camille

Make Up Organizer

In this blog, I am going to show you my make up organizer. Before I had this container, my small make up collection is just displayed on my small vanity. Now that I have it, it's easier to keep things organized and clean.

So you see, I don't have a lot of make up. (A LOT means like the amount of make up our beloved youtube beauty gurus own) This is my first make up container. I plan to buy another one just like this to store my skin care products. I hope these pictures will help you or give you an idea on how to organize your small make up stash.

Here is the whole make up container. It has a top organizer, and three drawers underneath. I will guide you through this starting with the top, the first drawer, the second drawer and then the third drawer.

So this is the top drawer. I used this part to store my brushes, lash curler, and my most used lipsticks. I also keep my eye shadow pigments, my compact powders, 2 foundations, 2 concealers and my most used blush. So to keep it simple, I store my MOST USED products on top of the organizer to make it easier for me to find my favorite make up.
Top
The next part is the first drawer. Stored in here are my lip glosses, lip liners, lip balms and other lip sticks I rarely use. I call this my lip drawer.
Lip Drawer (First)
For the 2nd drawer, I keep my blush palette and my eye shadow palette (the pink one)
Second drawer
Lastly, I keep my eyeshadow palette and my mini eyeshadow palette inside the 3rd drawer.

I didn't mention any brand names since this blog is about the Make Up Organizer itself. It's really nice to do make up especially if you know where your favorites are placed. I bought this organizer at Robinsons Place, Manila. I hope this helped you out! I hope this gave you an idea on how to organize your make up collection!

Camille

Plum Perfect (Maybelline) and Cherry Bomb (Wet n' Wild)

Hi guys! This is my 4th review on my beauty blog site.

In this blog, I am going to have 2 main products: Plum Perfect from Maybelline and Cherry Bomb from Wet n' Wild. These two products are my favorite dark lipsticks. The reason why I wanted to review these is because they are a bit similar in shade, but different in texture and longevity. I wanted to share my thoughts on both lipsticks.

 Plum Perfect - Maybelline

Application: Plum Perfect glides smoothly on my lips. In my opinion, it's easy to apply because it has a slight creamy texture and it is easy to control.

How it feels on my lips: This product is creamy and smooth. I feel like the creaminess of this lipstick provides moisture to the lips.

How it looks on my lips: It looks a bit messy on my lips because I didn't use a lip liner. This product has a nice satin finish. The color is slightly dark.

Longevity: This product lasts a long time on my lips. You do have to reapply after eating or drinking water because the color fades.
The lipstick is a bit darker in person (Check the swatch below): Plum Perfect from Maybelline

Smell: This lipstick smells like a cookie dough. In my opinion, the smell of this product is a bit strong when you first apply it on your lips.

Packaging: I think the packaging is very nice. The cap's color and 'feel' corresponds to what the lipstick looks and feels like. (If you have these Maybelline Lipsticks, you'll understand what I mean)

Where I bought it: SM Mall of Asia, Philippines

Cherry Bomb - Wet n' Wild

Application: Cherry Bomb is a bit difficult to apply. It doesn't glide smoothly on my lips. I just don't feel comfortable applying it. I suggest you use a lip balm/ lip moisturizer before you use this lipstick.

How it feels on my lips: This lipstick is very drying. BUT if you apply lip balm first, it wouldn't feel super drying (Do you get what I mean? :)) )

How it looks on my lips: Color pay off is amazing. This is super
Cherry Bomb from Wet n' Wild
pigmented. Cherry Bomb lipstick looks like it belongs to the dark red/burgundy family. In my experience, it looks better if you apply this lipstick using a small lip brush so that it wouldn't be messy, but if you apply it straight from the tube, it's fine too.

Longevity: This is super long wearing. It is going to stay on your lips 'FOREVER'. In my experience, it fades a little bit after I eat, but I don't really need to touch up because the color is still there.

Smell: This product has no smell (which is a big thumbs up for everyone... do you agree? :) )

Packaging: This product has a cheap packaging.

Where I bought it: My cousin gave this to me. I am not sure where she bought this particular one, but there's a wet n' wild branch in Robinsons Manila.

I hope this review helps you pick your slightly dark/ dark  lipstick!

xoxo,
Camille

Elf Essential Lipstick in POSH

Hi guys! This is my 3rd first impression review on my beauty blog site.

I am going to blog about the Elf Essential Lipstick in the shade 'Posh'

POSH
This lipstick isn't new, but I thought I'd give you some of my thoughts that would help you know a little bit more about this lipstick. I've had this product for months and I don't reach for it often. This is a good lipstick, but it's not my favorite. I usually find myself reaching for my Maybelline Matte Lipstick in Touch of Spice. I hope that made sense. (I have a review on that here on my blog site; I'll put a link here: http://tinyvanity.blogspot.com/2016/01/maybelline-and-in2it-lipsticks.html

Here are my thoughts:

Application: It's easy to apply, it's very smooth, but the application can get messy.

How it feels on my lips: This has a creamy texture, and it does not dry my lips.

How it looks on my lips: The color pay off of POSH is very good. This lipstick is very pigmented. However, it looks a bit messy on my lips.

Smell: This product has a strong fruity smell. I don't recommend this to people who doesn't like strong smelling lipsticks

Packaging: I like the fact that you could see the color at the middle of the tube and you could also see the product's name at the bottom of the tube. However, I am not a fan of this product's packaging simply because the cap comes of easily.

Hope this review helped you!

xoxo,
Camille

Product's name (Bottom)

Apricot Gloss Stick from Etude House

Hi guys!
This is my 2nd review/ First Impression for my beauty blog site.

Apricot Stick Packaging
The Apricot Gloss Stick isn't a new product, but I thought I should share my thoughts about this gloss. When I woke up this morning, my lips were a bit dry, so I checked my small make up collection to see if I have any lip balm. I reached for the Apricot Gloss Stick thinking it was a moisturizer for the lips. It does look like a Lip Balm with a bit of shine and pink tint. I checked some reviews online and figured out that it wasn't a lip balm. I tried the product to see if I like it (as a lip balm/ lip moisturizer) and here are my thoughts:

Application: It was very easy to apply and the product glides smoothly on my lips.

How it looks on my lips: Yes, this product provides a bit of color. You can still see the real color of my lips, but this product just gives my lips a little bit of pink. It looks really pretty and natural. This product is really a GLOSS, so it does provide a little bit of shine

How it feels on my lips: It feels creamy and it feels a bit sticky, but after a few minutes, it doesn't bother me anymore.

Smell: This product has a fruity/candy kind of smell.

Taste: (Yes I tasted it on my lips :)) ) It doesn't taste bad. It's like there's a hint of candy (Do NOT eat the product, kids). Maybe the candy smell is confusing me. I don't know.

Here's my over all thoughts: (does it work as a lip balm?)

The Apricot Gloss Stick does work like a lip balm or lip moisturizer, especially once you first apply it on your lips because it feels smooth and creamy... the packaging also looks like it could be a lip balm. It doesn't dry my lips which is a big thumbs up for me.

Maybe there are some people who disagree with my thoughts and I respect your opinion because we all have different preferences... but for me, This product works as a gloss, and it also works as a lip balm.

I hope this review helped you!

xoxo
